Use the Speed/Duration command.

Step 1: Ctrl-click (Windows) or Command-click (Mac OS) clips in the Timeline panel or Project panel, and select a non-contiguous group of clips.

Steps 2: Right click on the clip and choose Speed/Duration.

Steps 3: Now, you can opt for any of these options;

  • Gang button  - Change the duration without changing the speed of the selected clips
  • Unganging - Change the speed without changing the length
  • Reverse Speed - To play the clips backward
  • Maintain Audio Pitch - keeping the audio at its current pitch during the speed or duration changes
  • Ripple Edit, Shifting Trailing Clips - keep the clips following the changing clips next to them
Note: Clips with speed changes are indicated with a percentage of the original speed.
