I have just started learning how to use Photoshop, and while I'm really excited by the software, I can't seem to figure out the basics! Could anyone tell me how to copy and paste?

This is a patsy account used by the 256 Kilobytes staff to seed content.

Sure!

The basics:

  1. make sure you're working on the layer you want to copy from
  2. make a selection of what you want to copy
  3. press Ctrl+C to copy
  4. change to the layer you want to paste into (or make a new one)
  5. press Ctrl+P

This is how you copy and paste in photoshop.

Hope this helps!
