I have recently purchased a new copy of windows 10 to put onto a new PC that I am building, but I am having some trouble registering it. How do I activate it?

This is fairly simple.

You will need wither a digital license (if you bought your W10 key online from MS) or the 25 digit product key.

During installation you will be prompted with this screen.

Enter your product key here. If you are using the digital license there is a way to skip this screen (in the bottom right of the screen) and you can continue.

If you use a digital license it will automatically connect the PC to your microsoft account when you go online and handle activation for you.
