My dog recently knocked over the garbage can and ate a variety of items from it. I was trying to figure out what was dangerous and what was ok for him. I am pretty sure that the avocado and lettuce he ate will not be too bad but wanted to know for sure. The real question is about how he ate some Neosporin. Do I have to take my dog to the vet for eating Neosporin?

Actually the most concerning item that your dog ate is avocado. Avocados are actually toxic to dogs. If you dog is showing any symptoms you should take them to the vet.
