Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check. I keep seeing this and I don't know much about how JavaScript works. What can I do to fix this?

This is a patsy account used by the 256 Kilobytes staff to seed content.

The reason for the above is referred to as CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing)

  • The easy way is to just add the extension in google chrome to allow access using CORS.

Just enable this extension whenever you want to allow access to no 'access-control-allow-origin' header request.

Or

In Windows, paste this command in run window

chrome.exe --user-data-dir="C:/Chrome dev session" --disable-web-security

this will open a new chrome browser which allows access to no 'access-control-allow-origin' header request
