Solution 1. Run the System File Checker

Solution 2. Perform an Automatic Repair

1. From the Windows Boot Options menu, select "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced Options" > "Startup Repair". 
2. Next, select the target operating system to fix. Windows will initiate the repair, then restart when it completes.

Solution 3. Restore the Registry Files

1. Select "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced Options" > "Command Prompt". 
2. Go to following location: C:\Windows\System32\Config\RegBack. 
3. Copy all the following files "Default," "SAM," "Security", "Software," and "System" to the previous directory that is: C"\Windows\System32\Config.
4. Before copying these files to the Config folder, please take the back from the Config folder. 
5. Once you restore the registry files, restart your system. It will start again usually.
